Rhaps respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you when you use the Rhaps mobile application and related support pages.
When you use AI Beauty features, we collect only the face data that you choose to provide for that feature. This may include a selected face photo or camera image, face-related image analysis data, visible skin condition assessment data, AI Beauty settings or prompts such as makeup selections or beauty filter adjustments, and the generated output image or analysis result. We do not create or store biometric templates, faceprints, facial geometry maps, or face identifiers for authentication.
We use face data only to provide the specific AI Beauty function that you request, including virtual makeup previews, beauty filter editing, and skin analysis results. We do not use face data for advertising, marketing, user profiling, identity recognition, or authentication. We collect this information only when you actively choose a photo or camera image and start an AI Beauty action.
Before first use of AI Beauty features, we ask for your permission to send selected face photos, face-related image analysis data, chosen beauty or makeup settings, and related technical data to Alibaba Cloud so it can generate virtual makeup, beauty filter, and skin analysis results for you. We require service providers that receive this data to protect it using the same or equivalent safeguards described in this Privacy Policy and to use it only for the limited AI Beauty service requested by the user. We do not sell face data and we do not share face data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or analytics providers for unrelated purposes.
Face data sent to Alibaba Cloud for direct API processing is used to fulfill the requested AI Beauty service. According to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio documentation, direct API calls do not save conversation data and only desensitized call status is recorded. For image editing tasks, generated result URLs and related task data may remain available for up to 24 hours before they expire. On your device, if AI Beauty history is created, the original image, generated result image, and related settings may be stored locally until you delete the history item, clear app data, or remove the app. If you choose to save an image to your photo library, that copy remains in your photo library until you delete it.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us provide authentication, AI processing through Alibaba Cloud, hosting, analytics, attribution, customer support, moderation, payment operations, or legal compliance. Content you choose to publish in the app may also be visible to other users inside the service.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to operate the service, protect users, investigate abuse, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. Face data used for AI Beauty is retained as described in Section 3.4 above. Other information may also remain in local storage on your device until you remove it.
Rhaps is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means the revised policy will apply.
